The life of an animator can usually be difficult and most of the time the constant explanation of what we do only makes it more challenging so today lets clear the air.
I am an animator! Is that those kids cartoon and stuff? You ask! Well yes my job is to create and develop characters and visual effects that will capture your attention sooth your emotions and even your ignite your imagination. These are used in movies or in the series that you cant stop watching also that advert that keeps running through your head oh and that game that keeps you busy while in traffic not forgetting that website you visited and loved. No am not too grown to be doodling and sketching am just preparing for my next job. Also no its not time for me to start a real career because just like that a doc my career is real people.
So please do not belittle what I do because it takes a lot of time, sweat, many many long sleepless nights and a whole lot of people to come up with the animations that we all love. You may not realize it but animation is all around you so why not embrace it.
